About CrossWalk

CrossWalk (CW) is a week-long, overnight Christian summer camp for New England youth who are in grades 6 (completed) to 12, sponsored by the Baptist Churches of New England (BCNE).
Students attend as a youth group with chaperones from their local church (usually youth leaders or youth ministry volunteers).
Throughout the week, students are put in groups led by a CW Staff member with other students in their grade. They will participate in Bible study, worship, group challenges and activities, and a lot of fun.

Where & When
CrossWalk begins Monday afternoon July 20 and concludes on Saturday morning July 25.
Camp is held on the beautiful campus of Nichols College in Dudley, MA.
CW Background
The BCNE established its own youth camp week in the summer of 2000. It used the formula of the denomination's national camp but with a New England context. The staff consisted primarily of New Englanders and many camp alumni. We developed our own themes and began writing our own curriculum.
The camp's name was chosen: CrossWalk. A crosswalk is seen as a safe place on the road to move from one side to another. Teenagers are in a season of movement from childhood to adulthood. Spiritually, the prayer is that they are discovering what it means to be in a relationship with Christ or moving deeper. But each becoming more like Christ.
And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him. Colossians 2:6

Pack Your Bags & Get Ready To Fly With Us!
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
-Romans 10:14-15
